Sky Asia DMC needed a travel website that did more than display packages. They needed a platform that builds immediate trust with first-time visitors, guides users toward relevant packages without friction, and converts browsing intent into booking inquiries — all while communicating the breadth of their domestic and international portfolio.

The process began with a competitive audit of mid-market travel platforms in India. We mapped three core user intents — destination discovery, package comparison, and booking initiation — and built every section around serving at least one of these intents clearly. Navigation architecture was designed to reduce clicks-to-package from 4 to 2. Visual hierarchy was established using destination photography as the primary trust mechanism, followed by pricing transparency, then social proof.

The visual language was built around sky blue as the primary brand colour, referencing both the brand name and the aspiration of travel. White surfaces kept the layout clean and trustworthy. Destination photography served as the dominant visual element across all package cards and banners. Typography used a bold sans-serif for headings and a readable mid-weight for body — prioritising scanning over reading. The component system included a multi-tab search bar, package pricing cards, destination banners, icon-benefit grids, testimonial cards, and a structured footer link system.

Wireframes were built section by section — starting with the hero search architecture, then the package recommendation hierarchy, followed by the about and trust sections. Each wireframe was reviewed against conversion intent before progressing to high-fidelity design. The package grid layout was tested in both 2-column and 3-column variants before settling on a 3-column grid that balanced visual density with image impact. The footer structure was mapped to SEO requirements to ensure domestic and international destination pages received proper internal link equity.
